The Cruceros Australis could handle up to 100 passengers. There were two lounges, and a dining room that could accomodate all passengers in one sitting. The food was excellent. Breakfast and lunch were buffets while dinner was a sit down affair. Dress was casual.
Every day we went ashore. Most of the time we boarded 12 passenger inflatable zodiacs and were brought to a cove or beach where we hiked to view birds, natural history, glaciers and other sights.
Life on board the boat was always interesting. There were lectures by the naturalists, opportunities to chat with your new friends and always sights to view on shore. Click on any picture to enlarge it.
